I did take yesterday as an "off" training day. One of my great deep tissue therapists has returned to town, Jason, and I had 2 hours of great, painful therapy, which has me prepared for today....leg day!! Weather has cooled off a little in Vegas, although it has not changed how hot my garage is in the morning for cardio. The poor stairs need to be mopped after each session!!
Up at 730am: cardio before breakfast, 30 minutes of stairs
meal 1: 1 cup eggs whites, 6 ounces of Eat to Grow filet mignon(www.eattogrow.com, ETG), one cup (dry) Quaker old fashioned oats, one cup coffee black
meal 2: 10oz of ETG tilapia broiled with lemon, one cup white basmati rice, one teaspoon of salsa
meal 3: 10oz ETG chicken breast grilled, 8 oz of baked sweet potato
meal 4: 10oz of ETG ground turkey, one cup white basmati rice, 1/2 cup pasta sauce (mix it all together
)
pre workout: Muscletechs neurocore (www.muscletech.com)
post workout: Nitro AminoFX...for repair after my workout
meal 5: 10 oz ETG tilapia, one cup white rice, lemon
meal 6: 12 oz ETG filet mignon, grilled veggies
Leg Day
quads:
leg extensions, warm up 2 sets, inverted leg press, hack squats, free bar squats, lunges, finish with extensions. 10 reps for each set, one warm up set, 3 working sets...8 reps for free bar squats.
hamstrings:
lying leg curls, seated leg curls, one legged curls 10 reps, one warm up set, 3 working.
I have also been doing a 15-20 minute cardio session after training as well. I am definitely getting leaner, while maintaining my size. Heading into a holiday weekend, 4th of July, the nice thing about Vegas is that the gyms are still open 24 hours a day, even during the holidays!!
