And here we go again....killer leg day is upon me. My leg workouts have been great during this prep. I feel strong and I have been getting a great pump and have been sore. When contest time rolls around...they will be super hard and shredded. I am traveling to California for a guest posing this weekend. It is a local show, close to home, and I will be back to Vegas quickly, without interupting my training and dieting schedule.
Up at 8am today, 40 minutes of cardio on empty stomach before breakfast (best time to do cardio for fat burning!!)
meal 1: Breakfast: 10oz of Eat to Grow filet mignon (www.eattogrow.com, ETG...this filet is incredible, barely any marbling of fat throughout!), one cup of quaker old fashioned oatmeal, one banana, one cup black coffee
meal 2: 10oz of ETG chicken breast grilled on foreman grille, 2 cups white basmati, one teaspon salsa
meal 3: 10oz of ETG ground turkey, 4 oz pasta angel hair, red sauce
meal 4: 12 oz of ETG chicken breast, 12 oz of sweet potato, guys original bbq sauce (www.guysbbq.com... they have spicy as well, just not my thing)
Train: pre workout: Muscletech Neurocore
meal 5: 10 oz of salmon sashimi, one cup on white rice
meal 6: 12 oz of ETG filet mignon, 1/2 cup egg whites
*** I continue to use Muscletech's Hydroxycut Hardcore Pro Series.....I am a firm believer in this product!!
Leg Day!!!
quads: leg extensions, warm up 2 sets, inverted leg press, hack squats, free bar squats, lunges, finish with extensions. 10 reps for each set, one warm up set, 3 working sets...8 reps for free bar squats.
hamstrings: lying leg curls, seated leg curls, one legged curls 10 reps, one warm up set, 3 working.
